About CAAPS Aboriginal Corporation
CAAPS runs a 12-week residential alcohol and other drug program at Berrimah for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families, who can attend together with their children. Clients live in small accommodation units on a five-acre semi-bush site and receive education sessions on substance use, healthy lifestyles, culture, trauma and parenting, plus onsite and specialist counselling, peer support and a dedicated case worker. Children are supported by a children's worker and program.
