About The Sunrise Centre
The Sunrise Centre is The Salvation Army's alcohol and other drug service at Berrimah, outside Darwin. It runs a 12-week voluntary program delivered either residentially or as a day program, for single men and women aged 18 and over. The site has 25 ensuite bedrooms, three of them withdrawal beds supported by Royal Darwin Hospital. Each participant has a case manager and access to an on-site psychologist, and a six-week reintegration program follows.
