About Solaris Therapeutic Community Program
A voluntary therapeutic community for adult men held at the Alexander Maconochie Centre, run by Karralika Programs in partnership with ACT Corrective Services. Men who identify as having alcohol or other drug dependency move through readiness, treatment and graduate phases, with one-to-one case management, groupwork, peer support, creative therapies, literacy and life-skills work, health programs and Centrelink linkage. Outreach support continues for up to six months after completion. Referral is made through a Sentence Management Officer.
