About Catalyst and Torque Programs (Uniting Vic.Tas)
Two non-residential day rehabilitation programs run by Uniting Vic.Tas for adults who have already completed withdrawal. Catalyst runs five to six weeks, Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm, at Coburg, Preston and Narre Warren in Victoria and North Hobart in Tasmania, using cognitive behavioural and motivational enhancement therapy alongside group work, nutrition, mental health and mindfulness sessions, with peer support during and after. Torque is a six-week version at Coburg for people involved in the justice system. The program is free.
