About Maruma-li Withdrawal Management Unit, Wyong Hospital
Maruma-li is a fifteen-bed medically assisted inpatient withdrawal unit on the grounds of Wyong Hospital on the NSW Central Coast, run by Central Coast Local Health District Drug and Alcohol Services. It admits voluntary patients aged 18 and over withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs, with doctors and nurses on site around the clock. Stays run three to fourteen days, most often about five. Visitors and personal phone calls are not permitted, and admission is arranged through the district intake officer.
