About SMART Recovery Australia
A national charity running free, secular mutual-aid recovery meetings based on cognitive behavioural therapy for people with any addictive behaviour, including alcohol, drugs, gambling, smoking and food. Weekly meetings of 60 to 90 minutes run online and in person and are guided by trained lived-experience facilitators. Dedicated streams cover family and friends, youth, First Nations people, LGBTQI+ people, veterans and first responders, and people in the justice system.
