DAWN is a free home-based alcohol and drug withdrawal service run by St John of God Health Care across the Perth metropolitan area and the Peel region, with clinicians working from Joondalup, Warwick, Midland, Thornlie, Armadale, Fremantle, Rockingham and Mandurah. Clinical nurse specialists assess people aged 16 and over, set a medicated or non-medicated withdrawal plan with the person's GP, visit at home, involve family and refer on to counselling and rehabilitation.
