About Foundation House

A 28-day abstinence-based residential rehabilitation service at Callan Park, Sydney, run by the Construction Industry Drug & Alcohol Foundation and opened in 2000. It takes men and women aged 18 and over for alcohol, drug and gambling dependency, using a 12-step approach with individual counselling, group therapy, case management and peer support. Applicants must be 5 days clean of most substances, or 14 days for methamphetamine, buprenorphine or methadone. Graduation leads into weekly relapse prevention groups.
