About WHOS Gunyah
WHOS Gunyah is a drug-free residential therapeutic community for men in the Broughton Hall grounds at Lilyfield, inner Sydney. It is funded by NSW Health with Commonwealth support and takes men aged 18 and over with alcohol and other drug dependence. The program usually runs four to six months. Group work covers addiction education, overdose and relapse prevention, communication and assertiveness, men's issues, conflict resolution, stress management and exercise. Aftercare and transitional housing follow the residential stay.
