About WHOS New Beginnings
WHOS New Beginnings is a drug-free residential therapeutic community for women in the Broughton Hall grounds at Lilyfield, inner Sydney, funded by NSW Health with Commonwealth support. It takes women aged 18 and over with alcohol and other drug dependence and usually runs four to six months. The program uses acceptance and commitment therapy and trauma-informed care, with parenting courses, in-house family support workers and FaCS liaison. Staff are all female. Aftercare supports reintegration.
