About headspace Newcastle
A free headspace centre on Hunter Street, Newcastle, for people aged 12 to 25, operated by Hunter Primary Care since 2013. It provides short-term counselling of roughly six to ten sessions from psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists, a general practitioner and nurse, sexual health screening, work and study support, and a youth alcohol and other drug counselling program for ages 12 to 19. Referral is by phone, email, fax or form, with telehealth through eheadspace.
